Restom® Blackpot 8830 is a paint for silencers / exhaust systems made of steel.

Properties:

Only suitable for painting steel silencers.
Suitable for systems after the cast iron collector. Not suitable for stainless steel pots.
Guaranteed temperature resistance: 400°C, petrol resistant, high corrosion resistance.

Application information:

Apply Restom®Diluant 5020 in 2 coats to a perfectly degreased (Restom®Motornet 2010) and stainless (Restom®PAC 2030) or sandblasted surface.
Do not apply to a primer, but directly to steel. Air-dried, but only after commissioning does the paint obtain all its properties by being burned by the heat of the engine.
Yield: 250 ml for 1 or 2 motorcycle silencers, 500 ml for one manifold + complete vehicle silencer. Apply in 2 coats at 4 hour intervals.
Cleaning:

Use Restom®DILUANT 5020 or acetone to clean your equipment.

? Recommendations: 

Direct elbow exits (motorcycles, sports cars): In some rare cases there is a risk of detachment on the first few centimetres.
Cast iron collectors: use Restom®Collector 4070, maintains up to 600°C temperature.
