Remove rust from inclined surfaces or rusted chrome? Restom® Dérouillant Gel 2035 is a gel-based rust remover that, thanks to its viscous formula, adheres reliably even on vertical and sloped surfaces – without running off.
Properties
- Removes rust effectively and quickly.
- Ideal for vertical and inclined surfaces.
- Gel formula reduces evaporation and extends the contact time.
- Suitable for rusted chrome.
Application
- Degrease the surface before application.
- Apply a thin layer with a brush to the rusted areas.
- Leave to act for at least 1 hour – longer for heavy rust. Do not allow to dry out.
- After the contact time, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Then pre-protect with Restom® Phosprim 4090 and seal with an anti-corrosion paint such as Restom® EAF 2092.
Tips
- For stubborn rust, simply repeat the process.
- For rusted chrome, using Restom® Chromes 2070 in the second step is recommended for an optimal result.
- Do not apply in direct sunlight.
