Restom®Steelbronze 6060 - burnishing

Restom®Steelbronze 6060 is a kit that gives the steel a tanned appearance, also known as burnishing: This is the characteristic colour of the gun barrels.
This effect can be found on bolts and nuts of older vehicles, certain mechanical parts, leaf springs, old metal objects (lanterns, locksmiths, weapons, etc.).
Properties:

    High quality corrosion protection, which allows the use of the treated parts outdoors.
    Not suitable for stainless steel.
    Not suitable for exhaust systems.

Application information:

    Tanning can be carried out either by dipping or by brush application.
    Requires 4 consecutive steps to achieve a beautiful and long-lasting result: Degreasing, superficial acid attack, burnishing and protection.
    The result is only guaranteed if all recommended products are used.

    A kit can be used to treat approximately 3 to 5 m2 of surface area, i.e. 5 to 7 kg of bolts and nuts.
