Restom® Blackpot 8830 – Exhaust Paint for Steel Silencers, Heat-Resistant to 400 °C

Want your exhaust and silencers to look good again – without peeling after the first ride? Restom® Blackpot 8830 was developed especially for painting steel silencers and steel exhaust systems.

Suitable / not suitable

• Suitable: steel silencers, steel exhaust systems, pipes after the manifold
• Not suitable: stainless steel, direct flame exposure – for cast manifolds use Collecteur 4070

How it works

1. Degrease the surface perfectly (e.g. Motornet 2010) and derust (PAC 2030 or blasting).
2. Apply 2 coats – undiluted with a brush or with a spray gun, thinned with Diluant 5020.
3. Cure: run the engine stationary several times up to operating temperature, then another 15 minutes – this can also be done weeks later.

Coverage

• 250 ml: approx. 1–2 motorcycle silencers
• 500 ml: approx. one complete car system (pipe + silencer)

Delivery time

Grey as 400 ml aerosol: approx. 2 weeks, all other variants 1–3 days.
