Restom® Blocmoteur 8890 – 2K Epoxy Coating for Engine Blocks & Housings (Kit)

Today's technology for yesterday's engines. Restom® Blocmoteur 8890 is a 2K epoxy coating for the inside of engine blocks and housings – it protects porous castings and improves oil and coolant flow.

• ✔ Protects porous housings – inside and out
• ✔ Resistant to hot water, antifreeze, engine oil up to 170 °C and seawater
• ✔ Smooth surface – oil and coolant drain better
• ✔ High adhesion on steel, cast iron and aluminium (20 kg/cm²)
• ✔ Does not affect heat exchange – fast curing

Which parts?

Engine block interior, oil sump, housings, fuel and water pumps, gearbox – including areas in contact with coolant.

How to use

1. Degrease the surface thoroughly with Restom® SDT 4060 – sandblasting is even better.
2. Apply 1–2 coats with a brush – the orange colour shows where you have already painted.
