Restom® Alufilm 4040 – Epoxy Clear Coat for Aluminium, Brass & Light Alloys (250 ml)

Want polished aluminium parts to shine – permanently? Restom® Alufilm 4040 is a crystal-clear epoxy clear coat that protects aluminium, light alloys and brass against tarnishing and corrosion without changing their appearance.

• ✔ Colourless & brilliant – for polished and matt metal surfaces
• ✔ Highly resistant: to oil, fuel, brake cleaner and road salt
• ✔ Heat-resistant to 180 °C – also suitable for engine covers
• ✔ Long-term protection – no re-oiling or touching up needed
• ✔ Brush or spray gun – cured by light baking

Suitable for

Aluminium, light alloys, copper and brass – polished and unpolished surfaces, e.g. engine covers, radiators, trim parts.

Application

1. Degrease the surface thoroughly and completely remove old paint.
2. Apply with a brush or spray gun.
3. Leave to dry for at least 3 days at approx. 20 °C.
4. Bake: 30 minutes at 150 °C in an oven or approx. 15 minutes with a heat gun.

Coverage

250 ml covers approx. 1–2 m² depending on the application method.
