Restom® KPM 6000 Kit – Engine Paint for Aluminium Motorcycle Engines (Original Colours)

Want your engine painted just like it left the factory? The Restom® KPM 6000 Kit is designed for renovating painted aluminium motorcycle engines – e.g. Japanese motorcycles from approx. 1975 and European ones up to approx. 1995.

• ✔ Close-to-original look in black or aluminium grey, satin
• ✔ Cylinder paint up to 550 °C, crankcase paint up to 180 °C
• ✔ After curing non-yellowing, oil- and fuel-resistant, abrasion-resistant
• ✔ Complete kit with detailed instructions
• ✔ Enough for a 4-cylinder of 1,000–1,200 cc

Scope of delivery

• Restom® KPM 6000 THT (up to 550 °C) – 0.25 l
• Restom® KPM 6000 BASE with hardener (up to 180 °C) – 600 g
• Restom® Diluant 5020 – 0.5 l

Application

• Spray gun recommended for the best result.
• Curing is done with the engine idling.
• Thin only with Diluant 5020; clean with Diluant 5020 or acetone.
• Magnesium: micro-sand, clean with acetone, immediately apply EAF 2092, key after 3 days, then KPM 6000 Base.

Also suitable for

Fork sleeves and yokes, brake drums and similar (KPM 6000 Base).
