How it works
- Degrease: pour in SDT 4060 with warm water, slosh, rinse, dry completely. Important: do not seal the tank airtight while degreasing – it could deform.
- Seal: mix EIR 2000, pour in, rotate the tank in all directions, drain the excess.
- Cure: approx. 1 week at 15–25 °C.
Which size do I need?
| Tank volume | typical for |
|---|---|
| 2–5 litres | mopeds, small motorcycles |
| 5–15 litres | smaller motorcycle and scooter tanks |
| 15–25 litres | typical motorcycle tanks |
| 25–40 litres | small cars, classic cars, large motorcycle tanks |
| 40–70 litres | car tanks |
| 70–110 litres | large cars, off-roaders, tractors |
Tip: if your tank is close to the upper limit or has baffles, choose the next larger kit.
