Blistering paint, swollen surface, smell of fuel? In fibreglass and composite tanks, fuel migrates through the porous material right under the paint. The Restom® Kit Poly stops this from the inside: a thin resin layer permanently seals the entire inner surface.

Typical applications
Classic Spanish, Italian and Japanese motorcycles with polyester tanks (before approx. 1980), café racers and custom tanks, buggies, rally and off-road vehicles, microlights and light aircraft.
Not suitable for flexible polyethylene/polypropylene tanks (e.g. enduros and cars from approx. 1980). For steel tanks: Restom® SuperKit.

How it works
- Degrease: remove fuel residues and grease with SDT 4060 and warm water, rinse, dry completely.
- Seal: mix EIR 2000, pour in and rotate the tank around all axes until everything is coated. Drain the excess.
- Cure: approx. 1 week at 15–25 °C.

Tip: for polyester tanks, tanks with baffles or volumes close to the upper limit, choose the next larger kit.
